FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about renting a sound system for your event — from delivery and setup to choosing the right package.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Lehi, Utah and primarily serve Utah County and Salt Lake County. Customers outside our normal delivery area are welcome to pick up equipment from our Lehi location.
Do you deliver and set up the equipment?
Yes, and you choose how much help you want. Pickup from our Lehi shop is included with every rental. Delivery starts at $50. Delivery with setup starts at $100. Both are starting prices that depend on your location. The final quote also follows the equipment required and your event schedule. Post-event pickup is available on request as well.
How does pricing work?
Packages are a flat daily rate for the equipment: the Small Package is $75, the Standard Package $99, the Premium Package $175, the Performance Package $275, and the Concert Package $399. Upgrades are a flat price per rental. Service is priced separately: pickup from our Lehi shop is included with every rental. Delivery starts at $50. Delivery with setup starts at $100. Both are starting prices that depend on your location.
How many guests does each package cover?
As a starting point: the Small Package covers up to about 50 guests, the Standard Package up to about 75, the Premium Package up to about 200, the Performance Package up to about 300, and the Concert Package up to about 500. These are approximate — venue size, indoor or outdoor use, event type, and how loud you need it all change what a room requires, so tell us about your event and we will confirm the fit.
How do I know which package I need?
Just tell us about your event. Every package lists the crowd it is sized for, the events it was built for, and the gear it carries, and we'll recommend the best fit for your venue, your attendance, and how the equipment will be used.
What if I don't know what size system I need?
You don't need to know. Tell us about the venue, the crowd, and the event, and we'll size it for you. We'll also tell you when a smaller package will do the job — we would rather get it right than sell you more system than your room needs.
Do I need a DJ?
No. If you already have a playlist and someone to make announcements, we can provide professional sound without DJ services. We supply the system, show you how to run it, and leave the music and the microphone in your hands.
Can I play music from my phone?
Yes. Our systems support Bluetooth audio playback, making it easy to play music from your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
Can I use Spotify or Apple Music?
Yes. Anything that plays on your phone, tablet, or laptop will play through our systems — we provide the appropriate connection, whether that is Bluetooth or a cable. Bring the device your playlist is already on and download it beforehand if the venue has poor signal.
Can you provide sound for both my ceremony and reception?
Yes. Many customers cover both with one rental, either by moving a single system between the two or by using two systems where the ceremony and reception overlap or sit far apart. Tell us the timing and the two locations and we will work out which approach fits.
How early should I reserve for a wedding?
As early as you can, and especially for a Saturday between May and October. Wedding season books out first, and a reservation deposit — $25 to $100 depending on the package — holds your date and comes off your rental fee. If your date is close, still ask: we may have the right system free.
Can I connect microphones?
Absolutely. Every package includes a wired SM58 or equivalent, extra wired microphones are $10 each, and the Gemini wireless microphone system is $25 on any package that does not already carry one. The Concert Package includes dual wireless microphones. On the two-speaker Premium Package, a microphone that needs to come out of both cabinets runs on a short XLR lead between them — the wireless link carries Bluetooth music rather than wired inputs — and we set that up with the system.
What if I need more equipment?
No problem. A Yamaha MG06X mixer ($25), the Soundcraft Ui24R digital mixer ($75 on the Performance Package), extra wired microphones ($10 each), wireless microphones ($25), and the split array configuration ($25 on the Performance Package) can all be added, and we can build a custom package for your event.
Can I add a subwoofer for a dance or a DJ?
Yes. The Dance & DJ Bass Upgrade adds an 18-inch powered subwoofer to the Premium Package for $75, which makes it the Premium + Dance Sub package at $250 a day. It is the upgrade we recommend for dances, DJ sets, and receptions, and it is subject to availability because the subwoofer is shared with our Concert Package.
Can your systems support live bands?
Yes. The Performance Package and the Concert Package are built for live music, and the Soundcraft Ui24R digital mixer adds up to 24 channels, built-in effects, wireless tablet control, and multi-track recording for bands, dance competitions, and theater productions.
Are your systems easy to use?
Yes. Our rental packages are designed to be straightforward, and we'll explain everything you need to know before your event.
Do you require a reservation?
We highly recommend reserving your equipment as early as possible, especially during wedding season and other busy times of the year. A reservation deposit holds your date — $25 on the smaller packages up to $100 on the Concert Package — and it is applied toward your rental fee.
What if I don't see a package that fits my event?
We'll build one. We're happy to customize a rental package based on your event's unique needs.
Still have questions?
Tell us about your event and we'll help you choose the right package.
